Patrick Monahan: Rewind Selector 90’s

Everybody’s favourite comedian, lovable Patrick Monahan blends a high energy comedy style with hilarious and engaging topical and observational material. Known for working a room, Patrick is adored by all audiences with whom he makes an effortless connection! In this brand new stand up show Patrick compares life as an Irish/Iranian teenager in the 90’s. As identity cards and ‘Cool Britannia’ were being introduced, Monahan found himself on the periphery as a teenager – trying to blend in but ending up with all the other ethnic groups! Patrick will be known to many in Worthing as Captain Hook in Worthing Pavilion‘s 2016 production of Peter Pan. He returns for the first time since then with his solo stand up show.

“He really hits the mark…great depth” ★★★★ BroadwayBaby

“His tales of being an immigrant to Britain are thought-provoking yet hilarious, he loves his audience and they love him back. Patrick is a Fringe legend and it’s easy to see why.’ ★★★★ Daily Mirror

‘He really hits the mark…it’s a show totally struck by changing fears and prejudices. Mixing his youth with UK politics, world politics and the notion of nationality gives a great depth to his set without ever being moralizing.’ ★★★★

“Monahan possesses the rare ability to be hilarious without being outrageous”
★★★★★ Three Weeks

“There isn’t a comic quite like him and his hugs alone are worth the price of admission” ★★★★★
