WTM are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager with substantial experience in a similar role within an arts or heritage organisation.

The Marketing Manager (Campaigns and Communications) is responsible for planning and implementing the marketing and communications and audience development campaigns as outlined by the department strategies, which drives the growth and diversification of audiences and participants as well as the development of worthing theatres and museum’s profile locally, regionally and nationally.

Working closely and in partnership with the Marketing Manager (Film and Creative) to attract new and diverse audiences, increasing repeat attendance and driving sales.

Working and supporting the marketing team to ensure that Worthing Theatres and Museum delivers a diverse, critically engaging and distinctive programme of film, theatre and events, with a specific focus on the delivery of the live events and heritage programme.

Venue Hire Manager

Worthing Theatres & Museum have an exciting opportunity for a self- motivated individual with experience of venue hire and events to manage the WTM’s venue hire portfolio and the venue hire team.

The team is responsible for the delivery, promotion, finances and administration of private hire events in Worthing Theatres’ venues and the Museum. We are looking for someone with experience developing new income streams, maximising marketing opportunities and organising functions and events.

You will have business acumen; you will prioritise the customer experience and have a creative approach to increasing income streams and developing processes while meeting financial targets.  Your strong IT skills will enable you to oversee and manage the organisation’s use of Artifax, ensuring that all opportunities on the venue hire management system are exploited.

Working in the venue hire team the successful applicant will be enthusiastic, with good time management skills and an eye for detail.

The 37 hours will be split across 5 days, as well as some weekend and evening work when required.

Venue Hire Assistant (full time)

Worthing Theatres & Museum are looking for someone for this part-time role working in the Venue Hire Section, who can provide excellent administrative assistance and customer service in a fast paced environment.

The Venue Hire Section is responsible for the administration, finances and delivery of private hire events in Worthing Theatres’ venues and the Museum. We are looking for someone with experience of working either in a theatre environment or experience of working on venue hire or events, with excellent communication skills and the ability to be self-motivated and customer focused.

The role will involve responding to initial hire enquiries, corresponding with multiple hirers on a regular basis, preparing financial documents and working on an occasional venue hire, including evening and weekend hires.

Working in the Venue Hire Section the post holder will be enthusiastic, with good time management skills and an eye for detail.

The 37 hours will be split across 5 days, as well as some weekend and evening work when required.

The 20 hours will be split across 5 days, with the times being set by the Venue Hire Manager 4 weeks in advance. The 24 hours will be completed across a combination of weekday mornings and afternoons, as well as some weekend and evening work when required.
